History
Above Ground Level Discs was founded in 2018 by Dustin Keegan, a professional disc golfer with years of experience in the sport. The company emerged from Keegan's passion for disc golf and his desire to create discs that performed consistently while featuring unique, nature-inspired designs. AGL Discs gained recognition for naming their discs after trees and plants, creating a cohesive brand identity that resonates with environmentally-conscious players. Starting with a small lineup including the Baobab, Cedar, and Magnolia, the company has steadily expanded its offerings to cover various disc categories from putters to distance drivers. Despite remaining a smaller manufacturer compared to industry giants, AGL has built a dedicated following through grassroots marketing, player sponsorships, and community engagement at local tournaments and events throughout California and beyond.
